I have been posting about it on Facebook, but if I have any subscribers left who don't follow me on FB I guess I'd better post about the move.
When we first moved to our current apartment, it was a very quick move, as our house was sold very quickly and we were in NY when the deal was made. We had a week to move before closing upon our return. So we found the best thing we could. Our goal was to move closer to church and closer to Dave's job. We've been in this 4 BR apartment for 2 years now and we are ready to move into something bigger. We have been looking around on craigslist for a few months and one day I came across a 5BR /2ba rental house in a location that was really close to church, as well as the same distance as we are now from Dave's job, and it was a good price. Even though it was about a month too early to start looking seriously at houses, I couldn't help but drive by the place and look around to see if it looked suitable. When I saw it, other than the realllly steep driveway (down), I couldn't find anything wrong with it! Dave called the guy and went to take a look and he declared it perfect as well. It has a large fenced in yard!! And the owner is very flexible and has allowed us to make any changes we've suggested thus far. We immediately signed a 2 year lease that starts today and we are moving in this weekend.
I... CAN'T... WAIT!!! To have a yard is a dream come true. Somewhere to send the kids to play so we aren't all on top of one another and everyone micromanaged. And there is enough space for us to grow our family for a couple years without feeling we have to move up in house before we're ready to buy.
Now off to pack.

Prayers for a smooth move!
i'm so incredibly excited for you!!!
I know what you mean when you say you can't wait! We move at the end of next month and to have a yard - priceless! We're only getting a three bedroom, but we could have at least two more kids in this house. I hope the move goes easy and smooth for you!
Sarah Faith,
I am so happy for you. What a joy to start a new chapter of life in a new house. The children will have such fond memories. You move into a house, you make it a home.
Love you dearly, and I am so proud of your Mommying!
Miss Sherri
I'm so glad that it worked out for you! I can't imagine not having a yard for all those children. This is really good news. I hope the move goes smoothly.
