May I keep it?
Miriam caught a skink.
It shed its tail - I guess it does that to distract predators when cornered? I have to look it up for her later.
It's so tiny!

I think they're cute! My son kept one for a while; it lived about 7 or 8 months. I'm really not sure why it died; it was very sudden. He was careful not to handle it too much as it grew larger because they can bite.
I love their tails...
@brbschrm - What did he feed it? Where did you keep it?
@PistachioChocolateWife - We kept it in a 10 gallon aquarium with a little gravel at the bottom with soil and rocks to hide under. They like to burrow into the soil. We bought mealworms and crickets at the pet store...very cheap and last for weeks.
Wow! Cool. I'm about to bring a kitten home and ask Matt if I can keep it. lol
